I have been teaching here at ZhuoYue for two weeks now and I love it! The students are all great people, Yangshuo is gorgeous, and there is always something interesting to do in town. Along with my fellow teachers and students I play basketball, ping pong, and go on the occasional rock climbing excursion. I hope to meet you soon in Yangshuo, where the women are all beautiful and the clear waters teem with the once elusive Beer Fish.

I find this country fascinating and beautiful. I am thrilled to meet everyone Yangshuo has to offer.
The beauty, people, and activities could keep me entertained for a lifetime. I’m sure I will come back and forth, teaching and sightseeing, many times in the future.

Hello my name is Sean Harold Owen Brian Patrick Leigh, and I am a High School Teacher from Sydney, Australia. I have lived in Yangshuo for 4 months now and I absolutely love this place!!Yangshuo is a good place for foreigners and Chinese people to learn from each other – both culturally and socially. I decided to work at this school because it is more relaxed than the other school I worked at in Yangshuo – even though the teaching-load is harder. Anyway, I am sure that any student wishing to learn here will find it an invaluable place to learn the proud and noble language of Merry Old England.

Hi! I’m Marie from a small town called Halmstad in the Swedish west cost. I came to Yangshuo because it’s a small nice village and because of the beautiful nature. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music or go running on the countryside. I’m also trying to learn a little Chinese =)

| Hello my name is Emma. I came from Sydney, Australia. I arrived in China on the 26 February and traveled straight to Yangshuo the following day. I had heard about Yangshuo and Zhuoyue English College through my friend Andrew, who was teaching here at the time. He suggested that I come over and also teach at College. I thought this was a terrific idea and so here I am! I plan to stay in Yangshuo and teach at Zhuoyue until May 26th. After the 26th May I plan to then travel around China and India. |

My name is D.J. I am from the United States of America . 3 years ago I lived in Hong Kong for 6 months as an exchange student. I took my first Mandarin language course during this time. Afterwards I traveled in China for 3 months, and Southeast Asia for 1 month. I continued learning about China while finishing school in America , and made one trip back to China while still studying. I graduated from the University in December and am now traveling for 4 months in China . I plan to start teaching in Yangshuo shortly. I will be in Yangshuo for at least 1 month, during which time I plan to climb rocks as much as possible and continue to learn Chinese.... |

After 6 years working as a buyer for a manufacturing company , I had had enough and quite to go traveling.Instead of flying to china, I came from home in England by train, visiting 7 countries over 2 months long the way. Like many I was only planning to visit Yangshuo for 2 days, but liked it so much I stayed to teach.

Back home rowing has taken up most of my spare time over the last 13 years. I have won many races on the south coast of England.
